Watching a Theatre Performance

    I have always thought that theatre actors have it harder than film actors: they perform in front of a live audience, there are no retakes, and they need to know every line because this is their one shot. All the more reason to appreciate their efforts and hard work. Back in school, I watched a play: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory performed by Rato Bangla Students in St. Xaviers School, Jawalakhel. While it was a good performance, I have always wanted to watch an act by professional theatre actors. Things took a different turn when I met my new colleague Aakash Jha, who is passionate about theatre acting and has had a handful of experience in this field. I was able to find out about theatres showing such acts. We got tickets to watch “Chor ko Swar”: a play about a Limbu wedding and the aftermatch and peace and harmony. Ts Your Palate: The Game Changer

    Burgers are changing around Nepal. We have moved past the lettuce, crisp overcooked patties, and ketchup to more complex, juicier burgers and I could not be more glad about it. I’m always on the go for trying new burgers even though I have tried some pretty good ones like Burger Shack and Lama Grill Burgers or Workshop Eatery. But when my husband said he wanted to try this place he saw on Instagram ads: Ts your Palate, I want to be honest, I was kind of reluctant to the idea. I had seen the place myself, of course, in ads. But I doubted whether it would be worth it. I was wrong, it was definitely worth it. T's your palate takes a different approach to burgers. Their burger buns are soft and with a texture that holds well. Their menu is colorful and interesting separated on the basis of meat you would go for.
