They say that eyes are
windows to the soul. I wonder, if that were true, how many people have been
able to read through my eyes or through me. If they have, they would have seen
the chaotic mess that I am within. In a way, aren’t we all?
This mess: it consists
of mangled up thoughts, both consequences of things done or before doing. It
is true that we must think what consequence our actions might bring, what we
must speak and how we must speak. But too much of something is never good. And over
thinking could bring up problems that ceased to exist before.
I remember reading this
book called “doshi chasma” by B.P Koirala in the 10th grade, I
suppose we all do. Remember how the character kept blaming his glasses but it was
actually his sub consciousness? His over thinking? How many times do you
suppose we over think?
If you take it from me,
I would say many, many times. Thoughts and actions: they complement each other,
don’t they? It’s a repetitive cycle somehow. Thoughts initiate actions and
actions give root to thoughts. But where does it end? And how do we control it?
You can control it. It
all depends on you. There is a thin line between thinking and over thinking. Do
not go over to the latter side. Take it from a fellow prisoner of her own
thoughts. Let us not over think. Let us try not to be a prisoner of our own thoughts.
